"She was the light to our family"

WALLER COUNTY, Texas (KFDM) — A man in Texas has been charged with murdering his wife and confessed to decapitating her, according to Waller County Sheriff Troy Guidry.
The Waller County Sheriff’s Office said they received a call about a possible death on Wednesday shortly after 4:30 p.m.
Authorities said deputies arrived and discovered a woman's body in a small residential structure behind the main home. She had been decapitated, the sheriff said.
A man at the scene, identified as Jared James Dicus, the husband of Anggy Diaz, 21, was detained. The husband was interviewed and gave a full confession, admitting to the murder of his wife, according to the sheriff.
Guidry said it appears a kitchen knife was used to decapitate Diaz.
Family members of Diaz set up a GoFundMe account to help with funeral expenses.
"Our family is shattered by the loss of such a young life," according to the GoFundMe. "She was the light to our family and community. Always with a smile, and cheerful personality. The absence of her from our lives will be felt forever."
