Somerset Co., PA (WJAC) — UPDATE | The victim in Saturday's fatal crash in Paint Township has been identified, state police said. According to a press release, Aubrey Horner, 37, was riding in the backseat of the convertible traveling south on Horn Road just before 10 a.m. State police said the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit an embankment. The press release states that Horner and a front seat passenger were not wearing their seat belts and were ejected from the vehicle.
ALBANY, N.Y. — Nicholas Higgins, of Albany, was sentenced to 23 years to life in state prison on Wednesday, the Albany County District Attorney's Office said. The 30-year-old was convicted of murder and criminal possession of a weapon. They say Womack had lain in wait with a loaded 9 mm handgun, and fired two shots that hit nearby parked cars as he was struck.
