The team re-signed veteran Chris Boswell to a five-year deal on Tuesday that carries a total value of just over $23 million. Boswell was entering the final season of a four-year extension he signed before the 2018 season. The signing gives Boswell some stability and the Steelers one of the most reliable kickers in the league.

As an outdoor recreational activity allowed to reopen, Coal Tubin' Adventures got to work with opening Sunday. They recently had to stop construction on their new location in downtown Johnstown during the coronavirus pandemic, but that didn’t stop them from opening in full swing, all while staying safe.
State police say a convicted serial killer who’s serving a life sentence in a Florida prison, confessed to killing six people in Pennsylvania thus closing the unsolved cases. Members of the PSP Troop D Criminal Investigation Assessment Unit announced they’ve cleared four unsolved homicide investigations by securing confessions from convicted murderer Edward Surratt. They say Surratt is currently serving two life sentences for crimes he committed in Florida and murder in South Carolina.
Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — Authorities have identified the man gunned down Monday afternoon in the Moxham section of Johnstown. In a press conference Wednesday morning at the Cambria County Coroner’s office, officials identified the victim as 41-year-old Marvin Price, of Johnstown. Authorities say Price was shot and killed in a vehicle on the 600 block of Park Ave. around 2 p.m. The shooting happened near Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church and the school there was placed on lockdown as police responded.
Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — A Claysburg man accused of raping a young girl in her sleep, and filming said act, has been convicted in Blair County court following a weeklong trial-by-judge. Online court records show that Richard Sensibaugh, now age 37, was found guilty on most of the charges he faced, which include rape of a child, aggravated indecent assault, photographing/filming sex acts and child pornography. Sensibaugh was arrested in April of 2021 following a state police investigation into an alleged rape of a 5-year-old girl.
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — On Monday, Sam's Club announced its limited-time membership offer for teachers and administrators. SYRACUSE, N.Y. (TND) — Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., and Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., say Syracuse University should lose its federal funding after a convicted killer was found staying at an anti-Israel encampment on its campus. An encampment of over 70 tents has taken over Syracuse’s Quad in protest of the school’s refusal to condemn Israel in its war with Hamas terrorists. Individuals occupying the encampment have allegedly been witnessed “following Jewish students that walk past the tent encampment in an attempt to harass them.
Saturday was Mentored Youth Trout Day across Pennsylvania, giving kids and a mentor an opportunity to fish a week before trout season begins on April 6. Some parents that took their children fishing Saturday said it was an opportunity to bring something that was a bright spot of their childhood to their own kids. "Trying to build some of those memories that we did when we were younger," Nathan Kozen said by Lake Rowena with his daughter, Lilly.
