SOMERSET CO, Pa (WJAC) — State police say a New Jersey man was killed early Thursday morning in a crash along the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Somerset County. Troopers say the crash occurred around 1 a.m. Thursday as the driver of a van and a tractor-trailer were exiting towards the southbound Somerset service plaza. Investigators say the driver of the van failed to slow down in time and rear-ended the tractor-trailer.

University Park, PA (WJAC) — Penn State football has announced the date for its 2024 Blue & White game, the annual intra-squad scrimmage. University officials say next year's game will be held on Saturday, April 13 at Beaver Stadium and is expected to kickoff sometime in the early to mid-afternoon. A new report from the Pew Research Center shows that 77% of Black voters would pick Biden over former President Donald Trump if the election were held now. But that’s lower than the 92% of the Black vote Biden got in 2020, or the 91% Hillary Clinton got in 2016.

Former Bedford County district attorney with a criminal history was recently voted as the chairperson of the county's republican party. That vote is now being challenged and the state GOP is expected to review the vote. The questions being raised have nothing to do with Bill Higgins' past, but rather the validity of the vote. Higgins pleading guilty of over 30 criminal counts of misconduct while he was Bedford’s district attorney in 2018, making a deal to avoid prison time.

Forest Hills School District held a job fair Wednesday morning to teach 4th graders about different fields of study they can choose when they reach college. 15 business representatives and professionals explained their duties and what education students need for their positions. 4th grade teacher Kaitlyn Leach said they wanted to inspire students to learn about career options available in their own backyard. NEW YORK (AP) — The judge in Donald Trump's hush money trial cleared the courtroom of reporters Monday and then threatened to remove the defense's witness from the trial altogether because of his behavior on the stand, a court transcript later showed. CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa — Cambria County’s District attorney and coroner announced Wednesday the death of a West Hills officer was caused by an overdose of drugs they said came from his department’s evidence storage.
