SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Much like Halloween, I celebrate Batman Day every day. DC Comics, however, prefer to designate the third Saturday in September as the official Caped Crusader’s Day. Like Christmas, that means new and exclusive merchandise, comics, movie marathons, and a bunch of regular looking guys running around in their makeshift cowl and tights. I poke fun because I love fandom. I’m also someone who replaced their car’s hood badge with a Batman logo who parks in an often-overlooked underground parking structure.

UPDATE |Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — Cambria County coroner Jeff Lees has identified the man whose body was found in a Cambria County pond over the weekend. Authorities say the body of 64-year-old Barry Buriani was reportedly found in a pond along Frankstown Road, in Croyle Township, Saturday afternoon. Officials say Buriani was allegedly found submerged in approximately seven feet of water. Authorities say foul play is not suspected, however, his death remains under investigation by state police.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A Philadelphia police officer was shot and killed and a second officer was wounded when they confronted people breaking into a car at Philadelphia International Airport, police said. A person who was brought to a hospital privately and died there may have been involved in the Thursday night shooting but investigators haven't confirmed that, interim Police Commissioner John Stanford said at a late-night news conference.
